Monica and Chandler are going to get married in four weeks, but they are experiencing trouble writing their vows. The night before Ross and Rachel's wedding, Monica and Chandler drunkenly decided to get married. They were both so drunk that they decided not to say anything until the morning after, when they found out that the marriage was legal. After getting past all the arguments, Monica and Chandler agree to get married at the rooftop at 5:30 PM on Thursday. They tell everyone who thinks they're going to a surprise party to meet them at 4:30. Everyone believed them except for Rachel and Phoebe, who knew about it all along (even though nobody told them). At the rooftop where Joey is waiting with champagne to toast the bride and groom-to-be, Phoebe says that he might be better off waiting for another couple. He looks around confused for a second before saying "Oh!" You can see him blush as he realizes what's happening.

Monica and Chandler take the next step in their relationship at a room at the Plaza Hotel. Meanwhile, Ross is still struggling to deal with his feelings for Rachel.
